The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is thrilled to announce the hiring of its new Convention Sales Manager, Shannon Mires.

Shannon comes to the Beaumont CVB with 25+ years in the hospitality industry and most recently worked as the Community Relations Manager at Highline and as the General Manager of the La Quinta Inn and Suites Beaumont West. His experience in the industry and love for the community will be contributing factors to bringing business to Beaumont.

“I am overjoyed to be a part of the Beaumont CVB team,” said Mires. “The opportunity to show groups and visitors what makes Beaumont so amazing is truly an honor. This city is my home and my slice of heaven. I cannot wait to show others the amazing facilities, people, and opportunities that make Beaumont a great place to host meetings and conventions.”

As a part of the Beaumont CVB sales team, Mires will oversee the state association and government markets and assist the Director of Sales, Freddie Willard, with various projects and accounts.
