Located in the Piney Woods of Southeast Texas, Beaumont receives more rainfall than any other region in the Lone Star State. Thanks to warm Gulf waters carrying humid air to the Beaumont area, we'll typically see more than 48 inches of rain in our area each year. During the winter, warm currents from the Gulf keep Beaumont's weather pleasant. Snow is rare; but, sometimes we do see a light dusting in December.
