What do you like most about Beaumont?
The ease of getting around. I loathe sitting in traffic. You can travel by car to almost anywhere in Beaumont within about 15 – 20 minutes max.
What is your favorite activity in Beaumont?
I love going to the park! Beaumont has a wide variety of parks and recreation centers, which are great places to relax and unwind. Add a picnic basket and I’ve found my happy place.
What is your favorite season?
Summer! I'm originally from the Midwest and I grew up with long winters. As a result, I’ve always enjoyed “fun in the sun” during the summer months.
What is your favorite space in Beaumont to host an event?
The Downtown Event Centre. The space is flexible and the ceiling to floor windows provide wonderful natural lighting.
What is your favorite place to eat in Beaumont?
This is the most difficult question to answer. My husband and I are both “foodies.” We enjoy cooking at home and trying new recipes during the week. However, Saturday night is for dining out. Beaumont has a variety of dining options, and we are fortunate to get to choose from so many different cuisines and flavors – I can’t pick just one. My top three locations are 10 de Mayo for authentic Mexican, Chaba Thai for Asian flavor and Rao’s Bakery for that special after-dinner treat!
