Beaumont offers several opportunities to pay your respects this Memorial Day.  One of the focal points of Memorial Day in Beaumont is the annual remembrance ceremony held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Fluttering flags and the somber notes of "Taps," community members gather to lay wreaths, offer prayers, and listen to speeches that underscore the importance of never forgetting those who gave their lives in defense of liberty. You can also visit the Veterans Memorial located at the Ben J. Rogers Visitor Center, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Temple of the Brave, or the 9/11 Memorial at the Beaumont Botanical Gardens to reflect on the sacrifices made.

Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches is hosting a Memorial Day ceremony with band performances while Port Neches Riverfront Park is hosting a balloon release.
