The 3rd Annual Beaumont Comic-Con returns to Ford Arena on October 15, 16, and 17 with Mark KidWok Britten, Justin Nimmo, Liana Ramirez, and Steve Andreno making an appearance. Guests will enjoy an array of comics, artists, and toys for one epic expo. The event is family-friendly and welcome to all.
Comic-Con, which is short for comic convention, celebrates all mediums that have comic book traits, such as superheroes, sci-fi, horror, anime, and more. There will be vendors who stock merchandise from famous films, tv, games, anime and bands, clothing, stuffed toys, collectibles, and trading cards. Cosplay, which is short for costume play, is another interactive aspect of comic convention events.
The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau partnered with Beaumont Comic-Con to reserve a room block at the MCM Eleganté Hotel and Conference Center for those out-of-town guests coming to enjoy the event. Convention Sales Manager, Rebecca Woodland, worked with meeting organizers to secure the venue and hotel, ensuring this event to return.

Every year, Beaumont Comic-Con is extremely successful and fun with contests, intricately detailed costumes, and guests from all over southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. Cash prizes for the best cosplay will be given out to adults at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday for kids.
