While it was very trust-the-process, the class was beginner-friendly with games sprinkled in while we waited for the background to dry. The instructor even helped me add my cats for a personal touch, which took the final painting to the next level.

This was the perfect pick for a more unique Galentine’s experience. We booked our lane online ahead of time and were pleasantly surprised by the number of same-day time slots available. While it isn’t technically in Beaumont, it’s a quick and easy drive down the highway.
Axe throwing turned out to be harder than we expected, but we caught on pretty quickly. Between the great appetizers, solid drinks, and fun, energetic atmosphere, the time flew by. There are even games you can play with the axes, and we were especially into tic-tac-toe and the splatter effects.

We booked our escape room online the same day and had plenty of time slots to choose from. We selected the Bunker 19 room because it looked the creepiest, and we really wanted to test our bravery.
It was NOTHING like we expected. No spoilers, but it didn’t just take place in one giant room. The experience was elaborate, immersive, and thoughtfully designed, with just the right level of difficulty. Even with only three of us in the room, we escaped before the timer ran out (thanks to one or two well-timed hints from the attendant watching us struggle on the cameras).

Eddie’s Tavern offers the kind of variety that makes planning easy and the night feel effortless. We started with some free games of darts and ping pong while waiting for a pool table to open up, which only took about 15 minutes.
Once we grabbed a table, we loved the unlimited time slot. We had a server assigned to our pool table area, but grabbing an extra drink was never a hassle thanks to the large center bar. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and we even kicked back on the couches to watch the game. It’s a perfect option for a laid-back night out with friends.

This definitely wasn’t our first time attending the Jefferson Theatre’s Classic Movie Nights, and it certainly won’t be our last. The historic Jefferson Theatre is absolutely breathtaking, and its ornate details never get old – no matter how many times you visit.
When we spotted The Godfather Part II on the schedule (indisputably the best Godfather movie), it immediately became a girls’ night plan. What can we say? The ladies love Al Pacino.
Tickets were easy to book ahead of time online, and the box office is also open before showtimes for added convenience. Of course, we stopped at the concession stand for popcorn and Diet Coke before settling into our seats. With excellent sound and image quality, the experience gave a classic movie night a whole new vibe.
