Learn About Local History on a Historic Home Tour
Beaumont is home to three historic homes. The Chambers House Museum, John Jay French Museum, and the McFaddin-Ward House Museum all give an idea of what living in Beaumont was like. The Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) and Dishman Art Museum are home to amazing collections and works of art. The Dishman Art Museum is located at Lamar University and is a showplace that contributes significantly to the cultural opportunities of the region.
