Located between Texas and Louisiana, Sabine Lake offers some of the best speckled trout, redfish and flounder action on the Gulf Coast. If you want try something different, try tangling with some of the monster Tripletail that hang around the oil and gas wells just off the beach in the Gulf of Mexico. On the north end of Sabine Lake, where the Neches and Sabine rivers meet, lie the marshes of Bessie Heights. On the South lies Keith Lake and its chain of lakes. These two vital ecosystems provide the essential estuaries that make the Sabine area so great.
