Along with views of the Neches River, the mural at Jack Brooks Regional Airport (BPT) features vivid scenes of local wildlife including alligators, crawfish and birds. Mardi Gras masks and landmarks hit at the area's culture while oil derricks and ships recognize Southeast Texas' industrial economy. Other important features include the nod to Lamar University and the YMBL South Texas State Fair.
