Executive Director
Freddie Willard, TDM Executive Director
Freddie oversees and provides the direction for all Beaumont CVB projects and promotions. She works in conjunction with the City Manager and the CVB Advisory Board to ensure the purpose and mission of the Beaumont CVB is fulfilled.
Sales Team
Shannon Mires Director of Sales
Shannon has an extensive background in sales and the hospitality industry. He is a member of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals and Texas Society of Association Executives. He oversees state associations, so a significant portion of his time is spent in Austin, Texas, meeting with meeting planners and executive directors of state associations.
Brittany Bonin Convention Sales Manager
Brittany is our Convention Sales Manager. As part of the sales team at the CVB, Brittany is tasked with showcasing Beaumont as an ideal location for conventions and events. This involves engaging with site selection committees for conventions and trade shows, with a particular focus on the sports sector, to highlight the city's potential as a premier event destination.
Trisha Garcia Convention Sales Manager
As Convention Sales Manager, Trisha is responsible for the SMERF market. Trisha is tasked with marketing the city as an ideal location for conventions, events, and meetings.
Tourism Team
John Beaver Director of Tourism
John has the exciting opportunity to share Beaumont's story with visitors and potential travelers, showcasing its unique features and rich history. By highlighting what makes Beaumont a standout destination, he aims to inspire leisure tourism and invite others to experience all that Beaumont has to offer.
Bryce Leduc Tourism Manager
Bryce Leduc is the Tourism Manager at the CVB. As Tourism Manager, Bryce's job is to work with local partners, create tourism opportunities, and manage visitation to Beaumont. Bryce also manages our gift shop inventory, along with the online store, GoBeauGifts.com. He manages and keeps up with our Geocaching program as well.
Kenyan Guidry Nature Tourism Coordinator & Photographer
Kenyan works at Cattail Marsh Wetlands Education Center and provides information about Cattail Marsh. He greets guests, answers questions, guides van and walking tours, and hosts photography workshops. His primary responsibilities include informing guests of bird migration, trail details, and the functions of the marsh.
Jason Torres Tourism Specialist
Jason is the Tourism Specialist at Cattail Marsh. His main responsibilities include capturing photo and video of various outdoor activities from nature to city events. He edits video into content for social media and promotional materials. Jason also helps with setup of programming, events, and activities.
Tyrrell Park Nature Center
Rebecca Woodland, TDM Nature Center Manager
At the Tyrrell Park Nature Center, Rebecca has taken on a leadership role and is responsible for the strategy, development, coordination and evaluation of all activities and educational programming of the Nature Center. Woodland oversees the daily operations of TPNC and is guiding the development of this attraction to be a special historical and environmental education destination. Woodland provides the vision, leadership, and strategic direction to fulfill Tyrrell Park Nature Center’s (TPNC) mission. She initiates, directs, and supports both short-term and long-term planning and programming at TPNC, including visitor engagement, horticultural endeavors, exhibitions, and educational programming.
Marketing Team
Desiree Pete Director of Marketing
Desiree is our Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing for the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has the goal of promoting Beaumont. She designs and executes strategic plans to attract more tourists and convention goers to the city. In addition to media relations and marketing, Desiree is responsible for digital marketing, promotional materials, graphic design, data analysis, and partnerships.
Ainsley Thompson Marketing Manager
Ainsley is our Marketing Manager. Her responsibilities include the VisitBeaumontTX.com website, social media, and content creation. Her job focuses on promoting tourism to Beaumont in online platforms and communities. She also keeps the events calendar updated and the business listings current. Ainsley uses her digital expertise to connect with potential tourists and showcase all that Beaumont has to offer.
Administrative Team
Latasha Sames Office Administrator
LaTasha is the office administrator of the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau. She manages the office, prepares reports, organizes documents, and keeps the office running smoothly. She is also responsible for the payroll for all the CVB locations and the budget/finance for all locations. LaTasha manages the Babe Zaharias Museum and the employees there, as well.
