As you create your holiday shopping lists, consider keeping it local. From homemade hand soaps to custom-made jewelry or even a Spindletop mug, you’ll find the perfect gift right here in Beaumont when you choose to shop small. Shopping at local stores is also the best way to get one-of-a-kind items and keep your money in southeast Texas. Small Business Saturday (the Saturday after Black Friday) is coming up on November 26 and is a day set aside to focus on shopping local.

Another great way to support local businesses is Main Street Market of Beaumont. The holiday shopping extravaganza is December 1 - December 3 and will feature unique merchandise from dozens of vendors and various local shops. Main Street Market is the Junior League of Beaumont’s annual fundraiser with proceeds supporting the League’s work in the community including projects, assistance funds, and scholarships.

To help you navigate Beaumont’s shopping landscape, the Beaumont CVB has put together a complete “shop local” guide for this holiday season. My list includes antiques, boutiques, specialty shops, souvenir shopping, gifts, spas, and unique places to find food gift items. Get the complete list of Beaumont shops here.
