U.S. Baton Twirling National Championship July 13-18, 2015
The Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau is happy to welcome the United States Baton Twirling Association’s 57th Annual National Championship to Ford Park Arena Monday, July 13 – Saturday, July 18, 2015.
“Beaumont residents will be amazed by the athleticism and artistry of the nation’s best baton twirlers as they compete for the coveted title of national champion,” said John Chamberlain, president of the United States Twirling Association (USTA), which is sponsoring the National Championships. “Natural talent, years of training, and plenty of blood, sweat and tears come together as each athlete takes the floor for what could be the performance of a life time.”
Nearly 600 athletes will converge on Ford Park for the week-long National Championship, bringing with them parents, judges, coaches & other twirling supporters. Totaling roughly 1,500 people, 28 of the 50 United States will be represented at the event, which is expected to give Beaumont an economic impact of $816,000 and occupy 1,387 hotel rooms. The event takes place at Ford Park Arena, located at 5115 Interstate 10 South (77705), with the top individual competitors being featured in the Finals Show at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15. The National Championship Finals Show is free and open to the public.
