The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau (BCVB) is thrilled to announce its new Communications Specialist, Mallory Cross, and Tourism Development Coordinator, Christina Majdalani. Both are ready to hit the ground running with new ideas and fresh perspectives to increase outreach and promotion to the city of Beaumont.
Communications Specialist, Mallory Cross, is a recent graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Public Relations and M.A. in Sports and Media Communication. She worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant where she taught Public Speaking at Texas Tech, as well as on the Marketing Team at Visit Lubbock.
“Mallory is a fresh face to the Beaumont CVB that we are happy to have,” said Director of Marketing, Stephanie Molina. “Her drive and personality are just two of the many qualities that make her stand out and bring new energy to our organization.”
“The ability to work for and promote the city I am from is a true honor,” said Cross. “Growing up in Beaumont I have been able to see the changes and growth through the years and am so happy to be a part of a team who wants to share that with people from all over the world. I look forward to the future for not only the BCVB but Beaumont as well.”
Christina Majdalani comes to the BCVB with a background in restaurant management. With a B.A. in Business Administration Management from the University of Georgia and Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Atlanta, her time working as the General Manager of Cheddar’s Beaumont and her implementation of Landry’s Seafood House at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles, will offer a unique perspective for tourism in the Beaumont area.
“Christina is a great addition to our team here at the BCVB,” said Molina. “Her experience in the food industry and knowledge of Beaumont is an asset that we are definitely excited to have. She is determined to increase travel to Beaumont and find new ways to attract visitors to our great city.”
“I am excited to start this journey with the BCVB,” said Majdalani. “I have a passion for food, travel and the community here, so the ability to combine all three is a dream come true. The team at the BCVB is amazing and we cannot wait to work together for the future of Beaumont and its visitors.”
