The Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau announces a busy second quarter with 15 sports tournaments being held in Beaumont from April through June of 2016. These tournaments are expected to bring an estimated economic impact of $2,672,400 into Beaumont.
“The facilities in Beaumont are great for hosting events. The hotels and restaurants are very accommodating & appreciative of the business that is brought into the city,” says Nara Cole, Tournament Director for Stars Over Texas Softball. "We’ve had the pleasure of working with the Beaumont CVB for the last 10 years and they are always the first ones to call & offer their assistance with any upcoming events we have.”
With 24 fields in two locations, Beaumont has established itself as a premier destination for baseball and softball, utilizing the Beaumont Athletic Complex and Ford Park. With the addition of the City of Beaumont’s Municipal Tennis Center, the CVB also expects a rise in tennis tournaments.

- June 17-19: Southeast Texas Baseball Academy Texas South Zone Tournament
- June 25-26: United States Specialty Sports Association Super State Championship Tournament
"Baseball in Southeast Texas is some of the most competitive baseball in the country and each year the level of ability is getting higher. Ford Park & the Southeast Texas Baseball Academy are making that happen,” says Morgan Walker, Tournament Director for Southeast Texas Baseball Academy. “Since we have one of the top facilities in the country, we are able to bring in competitive teams to play in our tournaments."
