Treasure Hunt
There’s no better way to get a feel for an area than by tasting, touching, and trying on things made by local artisans and vendors. It’s the craftsmen that beautify the area; it’s the tasty treats that drive regional bites and the artisans that make Beaumont unique. From handmade spa products and jewelry to reclaimed furniture, explore the local shops because they’re the lifeblood of the community and the things you can only get here.
Whether you’re shopping for yourself, your home, looking for a gift for friends or family, or in search of the perfect souvenir, follow the red, yellow or blue markers around Southeast Texas to score the perfect find. Splurge or save, old or new; it’s a choose your own adventure at our antique, boutique, and specialty shops.
Antiques
Antiquing is treasuring hunting in the best way possible. Whether you’re looking for European opulence or farmhouse chic, we have many stores around the Golden Triangle that specialize in reclaimed furniture and give old pieces new life. Snooper’s Paradise is by far the biggest in the area with a whopping 36,000-foot showroom, but don’t discount some of the smaller spots. Heirlooms for Hospice is a unique one where proceeds benefit terminally ill patients so you can feel good shopping for a cause, while Texas Reclaimed has some of the hippest décor in the area.
Boutiques
For the fashionistas and fabulously chic, SETX’s boutiques are second to none. Find trendy attire at Gaudie and Co., Bungalow, and Block 22 in Beaumont, or head to Boston Ave. in Nederland for window shopping and accessorizing. For seasonal pieces or staples, Ella + Scott is perfect for wasting away the day, while Sweet Bee is the place to get a sweet treat while browsing (think cookie dough and cake pops!).
Specialty Stores
Looking for a really unique find? Get started home brewing at the Brew Shop, perfect your golf game with gear from 5 Under, grab some homemade macarons and cake pops from Sachi’s, get recentered at Mystical Moon Rising, a new age metaphysical store or find all your herbs and oils at Down to Earth. These are the quirkiest and most unique shops in town.
