Destination Update: COVID-19

Mayor of Beaumont, Becky Ames, issued a stay-at-home order effective immediately. The order allows only those businesses deemed essential to remain open, including grocery stores, gas stations, hospitals and medical centers, and others. The mayor is urging people to stay home unless absolutely necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Individuals are allowed to leave their home for essential tasks including: shopping at grocery stores, picking up prescriptions at pharmacies, physicians appointments, restaurants for carry-out, exercise outdoors or traveling to and from work for essential businesses only. As of right now, attractions, concerts, events, and festivals have either been postponed or canceled activities for the next month. We will update all event information as soon as possible.

For additional information:

At the recommendation of social distancing, a number of events and attractions are taking preemptive measures and using an overabundance of caution to keep our community safe. We’ve compiled a list of everything we know that has been closed, postponed or has updated offerings. We'll be continually updating this page as we hear from partners, but with the situation changing rapidly, it’s best to call ahead to avoid disappointment.
