Museum Madness

October 20-23, 2022

Support area museums during “Museum Madness Weekend,” October 20 – 23, 2022.  The Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Beaumont Children’s Museum, John Jay French Museum, Edison Museum, Dishman Art Museum, Fire Museum of Texas, McFaddin-Ward House Museum, Museum of the Gulf Coast, Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum, and Texas Energy Museum are each hosting events for a fun-filled weekend in Jefferson County.

The weekend starts off Thursday, October 20, 2022, with the McFaddin-Ward House Museum 2022 Lecture Series, "The Culture of America," and guided tours at the Museum of the Gulf Coast featuring interactive media exhibits in music, sports, and notable people halls of fame. The museum will also have an exhibit on African American Quilts created by Gulf Coast area quilters and presented by the National African American Quilt Guild. 

The Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum will host a kids' night at the museum with tours and trick-or-treating on Friday, October 21, 2022. 

On Saturday in downtown Beaumont, the Beaumont Children’s Museum welcomes Spheres Bubble Show - "Expand the Universe Tour" created by Blaise Ryndes from Season 13 of America's Got Talent. The Fire Museum of Texas will be holding a pumpkin scavenger hunt, and the Art Museum of Southeast Texas and Texas Energy Museum are holding their annual “Family Arts Day: Eat a Bug" and “Dino Day,” respectively.

The Beaumont Heritage Society is hosting its annual “Pumpkin Walk” at the John Jay French Museum. The Museum of the Gulf Coast will also be offering additional guided tours of “A Walk with the Stars,” rounding out the events for Saturday, October 22, 2022.
