Beaumont stands Strong

While Hurricane Harvey caused immense damage to our city and surrounding areas, Southeast Texas has shown that even in the worst of times, we are able to come together to help our fellow neighbor. The residents and businesses of Beaumont are determined to get our city back to all of its glory. While we still have a long road ahead, Beaumont is setting the standard of what it means to be a loving community. As we rebuild together over the coming weeks and months, the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau will work tirelessly for our community to restore Beaumont to its tourism destination location.

We know how important tourism is to our great city and for the people in our area. With that being said, Beaumont is dedicated on getting people back to work and to welcome visitors back to our great city. We know that with the support of our fellow Texans and beyond, Beaumont will be successful.

the city of beaumont thanks you!

Beaumont is fortunate to have so much support locally and nationally and we could not be more thankful for the volunteers who left their homes and risked their lives to help all of Southeast Texas. We also want to thank city officials and those who have worked around the clock to provide information for our city. Although Beaumont has seen devastation, we have seen so much love. Mayor Becky Ames said it perfectly, "from this great downpour, we have witnessed a tremendous outpour."
