29th Annual Beaumont Hall of Fame
Held at the Ford Park Entertainment Complex on February 5, 2019, the Beaumont CVB celebrated the event planners who helped bring 120 meetings & 74,595 convention delegates in 2018 to attend conferences, sporting events and reunions. This meeting business brought a direct economic impact of over 18.8 million to Beaumont's economy.
A special recognition during the Hall of Fame, the 2019 Beaumont Service Award was presented to Sarah Wells, owner of the Clifton Steamboat Museum, for her dedication to Beaumont and her continuous support of the Beaumont CVB. Sarah has gone above and beyond the call of duty with abundant hospitality in hosting site visits to her facility for meeting planners, participating in different Beaumont CVB programs and constantly doing whatever she can to support efforts to make Beaumont a desirable destination for both the convention and leisure market.
“Sarah is always so eager to help,” said Freddie Willard, Beaumont CVB Director of Sales. “It’s important for each convention group to have a successful meeting and fun while here and Sarah gets it. She helps to make their closing events at the Clifton Steamboat Museum both exciting and festive.” Congratulations, Sarah Wells!
