Ain't Misbehavin'

The 1978 winner of three Tony awards conceived by lyricists Murray Horwitz and Richard Maltby, Jr., Ain’t Misbehavin’ is a theatrical “love letter” to Fats Waller’s music and the Harlem Renaissance. The prodigious musical soul of 1930s Harlem lives on through Waller’s rollicking, finger-snapping music that rose to fame during the Golden Age of the Cotton Club and that jumpin' new beat, Swing.
