Christmas Ford Park

Ford Park Magic of Lights

November 18, 2022 - January 1, 2023

Ford Park hosts Magic of Lights for the first time this holiday season. The Magic of Lights drive-through will feature displays this year such as Barbie TM, 12 Days of Christmas, Big Foot Monster Trucks, Prehistoric Christmas, and the Enchanting Tunnel of Lights. Scenes are as high as 32 feet tall and as long as several hundred feet with over a million lights. Magic of Lights will ignite memories of the past while creating new ones with loved ones. Buckle up the kids and enjoy the convenient drive-through at one price for the whole family! Gates will open at 5 p.m. each day and close at 10 p.m.

City of Beaumont Tree Lighting

November 30, 2022

The City of Beaumont will kick off the holiday season with its 5th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and the largest Christmas tree lighting in Beaumont at the Downtown Event Centre Lake, Wednesday, November 30 at 5:30 pm.

Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Festivities conclude at 7:30 pm.

Main Street Market

December 1 - 3, 2022

The Main Street Market of Beaumont is a three-day, one-stop holiday shopping extravaganza featuring unique merchandise from more than 100 carefully selected vendors from Texas and across the country. Shop for clothing, gourmet foods, children’s items, jewelry and more during the market. Listen to live entertainment and expect a visit from someone special.

Christmas at Boomtown

Christmas in Boomtown: City of Lights 

December 1-30, 2022

Enjoy the Christmas lights at the Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum's: Christmas in Boomtown: City of Lights. Enjoy music, hot chocolate, letters to Santa, carols, and more. The museum will be open from 1-9 p.m. and closed on Mondays. 

Cardinal Lights at Lamar University 

Starting December 1, 2022

Cardinal Lights, a spectacular holiday light display, has returned to the Lamar University campus for the Southeast Texas community to enjoy. Thousands of colored lights will adorn trees and illuminate campus buildings around Jimmy Simmons Boulevard, Jim Gilligan Way, and the Rolfe Christopher Drive entrance to campus. Families are invited to take a slow drive through campus to enjoy the lights and other holiday-themed decorations for the entire month of December through the new year.

The kick-off event will be on December 1, 2022, from 6:30 – 7 p.m. at the Reaud Administration Building.

Art Museum of Southeast Texas Holiday Tree Lighting

December 1, 2022

Bring in the season with the Art Museum of Southeast Texas and area museums with loads of children’s activities including letters to Santa, cookie decorating, and more at the annual holiday tree lighting. Of course, you cannot forget the lighting of the tree! Head downtown to enjoy this holiday event from 4 - 6 p.m.

McFaddin-Ward House Holiday Photo Shoot

December 4, 2022

Grab your family and head to the McFaddin-Ward House Museum for the perfect backdrop for your holiday photo this year! The photographer will take three photos of you and your family in front of the magnificent home. Reservations are required.

Appointments will be held between noon – 3 p.m.

Shangri la Christmas Strolls

December 6 -10, 13-17, and 20-21, 2022

Head to Orange, Texas for Christmas Strolls at Shangri La. This fun and festive event is a great way to celebrate the holidays. Walk through the grounds of Shangri La and the greenhouses as they are adorned with light displays and festive flowers of the season. Enjoy a relaxing day with family and friends and take on the beautiful sights. You can also support the community by bringing non-perishable food items for those less fortunate in Southeast Texas when visiting. The gardens are open from 6 - 9 p.m. with the last entry at 8:30 p.m.
