Red, White & Blue - and fireworks and music too! Celebrate America the good ole fashioned way with a parade, music, food and fireworks. Preparations are underway for The City of Beaumont’s Fourth of July Celebration and the annual community parade July Fourth morning. These family-friendly events are free and fun!

You can show your patriotic pride and get the whole family involved. The annual Calder Place 1929 Fourth of July Parade begins in the parking lot of the BISD Administration Building at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to watch or walk in the parade. Bring pets, bikes, strollers, golf carts… anything with wheels! Prizes will be given for the best decorated! The event is rain or shine.

Head to the Event Centre at 5 p.m. for entertainment. Free parking is available in several lots in Downtown Beaumont. Fourth of July festivities include live entertainment, food trucks, a Budweiser beer garden and an unforgettable fireworks display. At  9 p.m. on the dot, the spectacular fireworks display will begin. Admission to all events and performances is free, and local food trucks will offer a selection of food, beverages and sweet treats. Families can enjoy the Rotary Centennial Playground and other kids' activities. Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are permitted but are subject to search. No outside alcohol may be brought in to the event. Admission to all events and performances is free.

Before the Independence Day Celebration in Beaumont, take some time to explore downtown and view new murals, painted electrical boxes and historic buildings.
