Bites for Beaumont FAQ
Bites for Beaumont is a digital foodie passport that’s a FUNdraiser for United Way in collaboration with the Beaumont Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Feed your stomach and nourish your soul on this fun food tour benefitting the Southeast Texas community!
How much does it cost?
For just $25, you’ll get 20 delicious bites from favorite Beaumont restaurants, plus other delectable deals around town.
How long do I have to use the pass?
Deals and bites can be redeemed November 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021.
How do I get my bite?
Find the link to your mobile passport on your phone, scroll down the list of restaurants until you find the one you're at, and show it to your server. They will mark the rectangular “redeem” button -- it's that easy.
Is this dine-in only?
Purposefully yes as we hope to encourage passholders to order drinks, entrees and desserts while enjoying their bite to support the restaurant community after a tough year.
Do I have to purchase anything to redeem my bite?
You do not need to purchase anything to receive your bite, but we hope since you’re there you’ll consider getting something else since these restaurants have generously donated product and time to make this program a success and we want this to be a win-win for them. The bonus deals section of the pass has specific offers tied to them (i.e. buy x, get y for free).
I really like one bite more than another, can I get more than one bite from the same restaurant or sub one of the offers?
Unfortunately no; we want you to dine around and try a bunch of spots without putting too much burden on one specific restaurant.
Can I purchase more than one pass?
Absolutely! For each pass you download with the same associated email or phone number, you'll see the redeem button that many times.
Can I purchase for a friend, significant other, give as a gift?
Definitely, you'll just want it to be on a separate transaction than yours and you'll need their phone number and email.
How do I see the list of restaurants?
Click home and “details” to be taken to the full list of participating restaurants or click the icon to the left of the menu for the map view. You can also click menu to see the full list of venues and even sort by “near me” to see the list by distance.
For restaurants that have multiple locations (like New York Pizza and Pasta), can I go to either of the locations?
The details of each specific offer are included in their listing you must go to the location specified.
Do I need to visit the restaurants in any specific order?
Nope. You can visit the restaurants in any order. Knock them all out in a week or take your time and spread it out throughout the remainder of the year.
The end of the year is coming and I haven’t redeemed all my bites! Can I get a refund or partial refund?
Unfortunately not; this is a fundraiser and as such we cannot offer refunds, but you can feel good knowing your donation is going to support 20 area non-profits right here in our community.
Is the pass tax-deductible?
Since the value of goods meets or exceeds the pass purchase price it is not tax-deductible.
What if I accidentally click redeem when I'm not actually at a restaurant or ready to redeem one of my bites?
You can call or text the Bandwango help number for any redemption assistance at 888-921-5333.
What do I do if I lost the link to my pass?
Go here to request a new link to your pass:
https://app.bandwango.com/dashboard/request. All we need is the email address you used during checkout. A new link will immediately be sent to you by email and text message.
