School’s out, which can only mean one thing: family vacation time. So put Beaumont, located in southeast Texas, on your short list of destinations filled with family-fun activities. Luckily, many amenities in the area are relatively inexpensive, costing little to nothing. Do you know another place where you kids can hold baby gators, learn the physics behind creating a bubble wall and catch a cool a nighttime flick in a vintage theater—all in the same day? Here are the top fun things to do with the kids this summer in Beaumont, Texas.

Top Local Attractions

Colorado Canyon

Beaumont is home to a handful of family-friendly attractions such as Colorado Canyon, offering the area’s most popular miniature golf course, plus a game room and a new laser-tag maze.
