"The promotions all year were a big help in motivating attendees. I think the services of the CVB were outstanding. You exceeded my expectations! We were able to entertain and train the students with the grant from the city. Stephanie was wonderful with her promotions. Pat was outstanding in preparing name badges and speaker gifts. Rebecca was always there coordinating all of our needs. I do think that the success was partially due to working with the CVB early. Definitely. I will work with Pilot Governors in the future and encourage them to use CVB services, but I have found that not many compare to Beaumont!"

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame Reception is a time for the Beaumont CVB to recognize and honor meeting planners who hosted meetings, reunions, sporting events and conferences in Beaumont during the previous year. Meeting planners are invited to attend a special reception where they are treated to dinner and entertainment.

At this reception, the Beaumont CVB honors inductees into the CVB "Hall of Fame" as well as extends gratitude to meeting planners for contributing to the success of meetings and tourism in Beaumont. After recognizing meeting planners, the CVB presents a Service Award to a local citizen who has shown extreme dedication to enhancing tourism in Beaumont. The Annual Service Award recipient is kept secret and revealed at the close of the reception to a surprised guest of honor.

Each year the CVB works diligently to entice groups, conventions and meetings to choose Beaumont for their meeting destination. Groups impact the local economy through hotel occupancy taxes and tourism dollars that significantly affect the economic development of Beaumont. Tourism dollars are "new money" brought into the local economy.
