Overview:
This is the definitive exhibit on the Texas oil industry: Unlocking the Energy of Oil! This museum's exhibits are designed to thrill, educate and enlighten all ages. See cinematic robots depict three generations of an oil-field family. Historical characters share the captivating story of the Spindletop gusher that blew and started the petrochemical age in 1901. Hours: Tues.-Sat. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun. 1-5 p.m. Admission: $1 to $2, children under 6 free.
