Overview:
It all started on “a wing and a prayer” in the summer of ’85, with a family sauce and a Fry Daddy cooker in a storefront opposite Dover Air force Base. The store was designed to target homesick Buffalonians at the air force base but to their surprise, the biggest draw was beach traffic. Responding to demand, Wings To Go began to open branches at Dewey Beach and in Wilmington. By the end of the third year, there were five locations dispensing five degrees of wings, from mild to the famous Suicide version. Today, there is a sixth degree that can cause even the most brave to cry…Homicide!!! By 1989 franchising began and the rest they say is history. There are now over 76 locations in 18 states and the District Of Columbia.
