Located on the campus of Lamar University, the Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum provides a fun backdrop for reception and dinner events and can accommodate up to 500 throughout the facility. Guests step back in time to witness Beaumont’s rich oil heritage where they’ll watch a working replica gusher blow water hundreds of feet into Beaumont’s sky. Reenactments can also be arranged including: an old-fashioned shoot-out, prohibition-era tea parties & dancing, blacksmithing and more. A traditional driller’s lunch of red beans and rice along with other catering options are available.
