Free State Cellars Winery

Free State Cellars vineyard was built in 1984 and covers seven acres with over 1,000 vines in Orange, Texas. Their muscadine varieties, Noble (black grapes for red wines) and Magnolia (bronze grapes for white wines) are both known for their delicious flavors. Delectable wines and a love of the land — they celebrate these passions in our Tasting Room. Immerse yourself in Free State Cellars by exploring our wine selection, enjoying playful flavors from the Free State Kitchens, kicking back with an espresso, or strolling the banks of our beautiful bayou. Join them for a tasting that highlights their diverse collection, ranging from crisp whites, bold reds, and rich chocolates, to bright muscadines and a handful of colorful fruit wines. Free State Cellars has a farm-forward approach to French cuisine, focused on sharing the beauty of the changing seasons with the bounties of local farmers. Elevate your visit by reserving a Free State Encounter in the beautiful outdoor area. Each Encounter offers a different sensory immersion to ensure your visit is unforgettable. In order to provide special attention to their guests, they request group reservations for parties of five or more, or for those who want to enjoy the Free State Encounters.
