Overview:
Located on the campus of Lamar University in Beaumont, the Dishman Art Museum serves as a teaching facility and offers students an opportunity to experience diverse styles that reflect international trends as well as exhibit their own work. The Dishman Art Museum has a modest permanent collection of nearly 1,000 objects. The permanent collection stems from the generous donations of local art enthusiasts.
