  • A Little Extra Enterainment - Unwind at Crockett Street Entertainment District where you'll find a variety of nightlife that caters to all who seek entertainment and southern food. Savor delicious cuisine on the patio of one of their restaurants or two-step across the "Biggest Dance Floor in Southeast Texas" at the Dixie Dance Hall where local music legends frequently rock the stage. Casino Trips - Located conveniently on IH-10, Beaumont is only minutes away from the casino gaming in Louisiana. So, not only will you get all that Beaumont has to offer, we'll throw in some Louisiana lagniappe. Come on, treat yourself to something extra.

  • Culture - Step back in time to witness Beaumont's rich oil heritage at Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum where you'll watch the world's only working replica gusher blow water hundreds of feet into Beaumont's blue sky. Continue your exploration of how Beaumont became the "Cradle of the Petroleum Age" with a tour of the Texas Energy Museum where interactive exhibits share the history of oil exploration, production and refining. Push a button and the robots representing historical characters seemingly come to life to tell their stories of the oil boom in Beaumont.

  • History - Preserving the history of fire fighting services and educating children about fire prevention and safety, the Fire Museum of Texas is housed in a working fire station built in 1927. Kids can play in a two-storey interactive playhouse or dress in firefighter gear and climb aboard a real fire engine. The tour highlight is the 24-foot Dalmatian-spotted fire hydrant that sits out front.

  • Museums - With its emphasis of American art, the Art Museum of Southeast Texas has a growing regional collection of folk art, but also holds extensive fine art collections of paintings, sculptures, prints and photographs of the 19th through 21st centuries.
