Beaumont is home to CMT’s Gator 911 and you can meet the stars of the show, right here at Gator Country - Texas' only alligator theme park! With over 300 alligators, Caymans and crocodiles, Gator Country offers every guest the opportunity to have a hands-on experience. Visitors can help feed LIVE gators and take home a picture to prove it! The park specializes in the rescue and preservation of alligators while also providing educational demonstrations about their beloved reptiles. Of course, we can’t leave out the snakes, alligator snapping turtles or the park’s main highlight, Big Al. Certified by Texas Parks & Wildlife as the largest alligator in captivity in the state of Texas, Big Al weighs in at nearly 1,000 pounds and measures 13 feet 4 inches.
