High school students (entering grades 9–12) are invited to attend the High School band and percussion camp. The camp offers a tremendous growth experience for high school wind and percussion players. Students participate in band rehearsals, chamber ensembles, private lessons, and master classes. Additionally, elective courses include music composition, conducting, history of American music, jazz improvisation, and more.
Students may live on-campus and eat in the Dining Hall. Evening activities include off-campus movies, student chamber music recitals, faculty recital, and a performance by the camp jazz ensemble. The camp culminates with a grand concert, including the percussion ensemble and all bands.
Registration is due by June 15 and a $100 deposit is required.
