Join us for Heritage Happy Hour at the Tyrrell Park Stables on February 28, 2019 from 5:30-7:30 pm! The twelve stall stable building was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps Company 845 as part of a city park project from November 24, 1935 through June 30, 1941 that also included drainage ditches, the park entrance way, the golf course, roads, nature trails, picnic tables, and recreation buildings. The stables have enjoyed a recent redevelopment in the past few years, so come check it out!
Tours will be given of the facility and Giglio Distributing Co. will feature craft beer selections (wine and non-alcoholic beverages also available). Heritage Happy Hour is always FREE to members of the Beaumont Heritage Society and $10 for non-members 21+.
Heritage Happy Hour is an on-going partnership between the Beaumont Heritage Society and Giglio Distributing Co. typically held every other month, with each event highlighting an historical exhibit, time, or landmark, as well as a craft beer or brewery. We believe that by promoting and sharing our local history and its historical significance in a fun and social way, we can also share and promote the efforts to preserve Beaumont’s historical landscape. Join today at beaumontheritage.org and help us make a difference!
