Texas country music duo, Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis, are ringing in the Holiday’s with their 19th annual Holiday Shindig. The phenomenon that began in 1998 with just one show quickly turned into a cheerful family tradition that has the couple travelling all over Texas. This year’s Shindig is the first in 4 years that will have new music from the couple as a duo. In October, Bruce and Kelly released “If I Had a Rose,” a beautiful and delicate tune.
The Holiday shows started in 1998 with just Kelly, Bruce, and Charlie Robison. The following year, Emily and Marty from The Dixie Chicks joined in for the fun. Just these two shows grew into an annual holiday tradition. These aren’t the typical Holiday shows you’d expect. While the couple plays some Christmas favorites like Kelly singing “Santa Baby,” or they play “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” you can count on hearing some of the duo’s chart topping hits. The combination of these songs make for a very unique show.
