The Alzheimer’s Association® is inviting Beaumont residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at The Medical Center of SE Texas - Victory Campus in Beaumont. .
Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's participants will complete a 5K (3.1 Mile) walk and will learn about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Walk participants will also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
In addition to the 5K (3.1 Mile) walk, participants will enjoy the opening ceremony with the National Anthem, music, entertaining warm-up and a special tribute to those who have experienced or are experiencing Alzheimer’s. Participants will learn more about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services. Walk participants also honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.
