What do you love most about Beaumont?

I love that Beaumont is in a transition of growth and creative infusion, we have so many dynamic characters in our community that are focused on making Beaumont, Texas a great place to visit and live.

What is your favorite activity in Beaumont?

Right now, the best way to explore Beaumont is by boat, specifically on the Ivory Bill with Neches River Adventures. Whether you want to learn about the habitat and wildlife species along the river or just want to sit back and relax on the open-air pontoon boat, you can’t beat it!

What is your favorite season?

Is crawfish an official season? I count the days until Southeast Texas crawfish are as big as your hand and the spicier the better. My secret way to eat them is an extra dash of Tex-Joy Steak Seasoning to really amp up the flavor.

What is your favorite space in Beaumont to host an event?

Beaumont’s museums and attractions offer a diverse variety of event space. From a wedding at the Beaumont Botanical Gardens, to a Boy Scout meet-up at the Clifton Steamboat Museum. Or, pack your picnic basket for an evening on the lawn at the McFaddin-Ward House. I’ve always said, if you’re bored in Beaumont, it’s your own fault! Our calendar of events is jam-packed with activities for your family, a date night or a day with friends.

What is your favorite place to eat in Beaumont?

Did I mention I love seafood? Char-grilled oysters with garlic butter and Parmesan topped-off with a spicy Bloody Mary at Floyd’s Seafood is my idea of a perfect afternoon.

We offer Beaumont hospitality businesses (hotels, restaurants, attractions, retail shops) many ways to partner with us.
