Elizabeth Eddins Named 2014 Rising Star Award Recipient by the Texas Travel Industry Association

The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the Texas Travel Industry Association (TTIA) will present the 2014 Rising Star Award to Elizabeth Eddins, CTE, Beaumont CVB Tourism Director during the TTIA Awards Dinner in Galveston on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.

"For seven years, I've worked to answer the question, "What is there to do in Beaumont?" Thanks to forward-thinking City leaders who continue to support CVB initiatives, I'm happy to say my answers have evolved and grown through the years," said Elizabeth Eddins, CTE, Beaumont CVB Tourism Director. "I've also been fortunate to work with fellow colleagues throughout the state who have been willing to share their guidance, allowing me to further my education and my career in travel. I am truly honored to receive the TTIA Rising Star Award and look forward to the future of Beaumont and the Texas travel industry."

The Rising Star Award is presented to a young professional in the Texas travel & tourism industry who is recognized for their accomplishments, demonstrated leadership, and commitment to the industry and TTIA. Because of her passion for the travel industry and her dedication to her role in Beaumont, Elizabeth Eddins is being honored by TTIA with the Rising Star Award. She exemplifies "Texas Hospitality", resourcefulness, and leadership and is lauded by her peers.
