If you haven’t heard, big things are happening in Beaumont, Texas! From local breweries and restaurants to large chains, these businesses are creating an exciting future for the city. To keep you informed, here is a list of the openings happening in 2019.

Breweries and Bars

Struggle Street Brewery

Located at 2140 Calder Ave., Struggle Street Brewery is set to be open by the summer. Owned by home brewer Scott Reeves, this brewery is set to be a family – friendly environment with patio, outdoor seating and lawn games.

Pour Brothers Brewery

The brewery’s location will be in downtown Beaumont at 585 Wall St. and will be one of the first breweries in Beaumont. Owned by three partners with a background in home brewing, this establishment is scheduled to be open by July 2019 with hours from Thursday – Saturday from noon – 11 p.m. and select Sundays.

Little Woodrow’s

Known for its huge selection of beer from all over the world and craft beers from Texas breweries, Little Woodrow’s will be a great addition to the Beaumont bar scene looking to open in May 2019. With a full bar, large patio and numerous TV’s, this will be everyone’s favorite hangout spot.

Restaurants

Ralph and Kacoo’s

Southern chain restaurant, Ralph and Kacoo’s, is now open in Beaumont! Serving up delicious Cajun seafood as well as the classics, this is a place you have to try! From po-boys and etouffee to steaks and BBQ, you can’t go wrong.

Looking for a spot to get scratch-made diner food? Black Bear Diner is the place and is open! Get all of your classic breakfast dishes, sandwiches and more!

Brandon’s Wood Fired Grill

Coming in mid-April, Brandon’s Wood Fired Grill is opening in the old Jerry Nelson’s Wood Fired Grill location. Focusing on quality of meats at a reasonable price, this will be a hot spot in Beaumont. Opening the music venue as well, Brandon’s plans on hosting both local and known-name talent.

Shopping

Dick’s Sporting Goods/Field and Stream

A sports fanatics dream, Dick’s Sporting Goods is located in the old Macy’s shopping space at Parkdale Mall and will sell clothing, sports equipment and more. It is planned to have its grand opening May 17 -19, 2019.

HomeGoods

Located in the former Ashley HomeStore space at Parkdale Mall, a favorite chain among many, HomeGoods, is opening May 19, 2019. Discounted prices for decorations and essentials for your home, HomeGoods will be a great fit for Beaumont!

Five Below

Also in the former Ashley HomeStore at Parkdale Mall, Five Below is a discount chain that sells items in the store for $5 or less including toys, accessories and homegoods. The store is set to open May 3, 2019.
