Monster Nation is turning Ford Park into a Destruction Zone! Monster trucks will rumble back into Beaumont’s Ford Park Arena with 1,800 tons of dirt and smashed metal on February 19-20, 2016. What has become the premiere monster event promises to continue wowing fans with six 10,000 pound monster machines and more jam-packed into 2 hours of high-flying horsepower.
Back to defend the Monster Nation Freestyle and Racing title is the legendary monster truck Bigfoot. A stacked-field of other Monsters are also gunning for the title including: Dawg Pound, Over Bored, Heavy Hitter, Quad Chaos and Dirt Crew. Also back by popular demand is the car-eating, fire-breathing, transforming dinosaur robot, Megasaurus. With over 15,000 lbs of force in each claw and 15,000 lbs of biting force, no car is safe in the path of Megasaurus.
And as if the monster truck competition and a transforming dinosaur robot isn’t enough action, Monster Nation's Destruction Zone will feature a fire-spewing, jet-powered Smart Car. This insanely powerful compact car uses a 1300 horsepower turbine engine from an army helicopter. The engine has been modified from a free turbine helicopter engine into a 1500 horsepower afterburner engine.
Monster Nation Monster Trucks will battle in three separate competitions during each performance. The tailgate-ripping Wheelie Contest is first, where each driver attempts to stand his 10' tall truck straight in the air. The next event is elimination-style head to head racing around an oval course. But what will certainly complete the scene are the no-rules, no-holds-barred destruction freestyle competition. The entire floor of Ford Arena will be open season for the Destruction Zone freestyle competition!
Fans can meet the stars of Monster Nation's Destruction Zone and get up close to the monster trucks before each performance at the Monster Nation Pit Party. A pit pass ticket must be accompanied by a same-show event ticket. Free pit pass tickets are included with every event ticket purchased through Sunday, January 31st. Beginning Monday, February 1st, there will be a charge for pit pass tickets. Tickets for adults range from $23 - $25 while kids tickets (ages 2-12) range from $13 - $17.
