There's always something happening in Beaumont! To help share this with meeting and event planners, our Sales Team makes regular trips to Austin for client meetings, industry events and multiple sales efforts. Lately, we've been busy doing just that. Here's the scoop!
Austin Sales Calls: Earlier this month, I reached out to state association meeting planners that had not been called on before. Planners were given the Beaumont CVB’s new meeting planning guide and a clever incentive token encouraging them to take a closer look at Beaumont. The magnifying glass and attached reminders promoted our website and social channels.
Plan Your Meetings: On May 21st, meeting planners and suppliers came together to learn and attend the Plan Your Meetings marketplace, which focuses on the latest technology and meeting trends. I was able to meet with 20+ state association meeting planners and as a result, Beaumont will bid on the 2018 Education, Policy & Technology Conference for the Texas Conference of Urban Counties!
Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE): Next month, I'll be attending TSAE Summer Break which gives Beaumont the chance to engage with association planners and other CVB peers in a casual and interactive environment. We're looking forward to hosting several meeting planners as the Beaumont Bowling Babes!
Site Visits: Team Beaumont pulls out all the stops for our wonderful clients. We've recently hosted the following groups for site visits.

- Lions Club (April 2016)
In the Community: This month Freddie, Rebecca and Susan attended a variety of community events including the grand opening for the White Horse Grill, the Soap Box Derby Car Clinic the opening ceremony for the Southwest Electric Exchange.
