Red, White & Blue - and fireworks and music too! Celebrate America the good ole fashioned way with a parade, music, food and fireworks. Preparations are underway for The City of Beaumont’s Fourth of July Celebration and the annual community parade July Fourth morning. These family friendly events are free and fun!

Calder Place 1929 Fourth of July Parade

You can show your patriotic pride and get the whole family involved. The annual Calder Place 1929 Fourth of July Parade begins in the parking lot of the BISD Administration Building at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to watch or walk in the parade. Bring pets, bikes, strollers, golf carts… anything with wheels! Prizes will be given for the best decorated! The event is rain or shine.

City of Beaumont Festival & Fireworks Show

Later in the day, the City of Beaumont will put on the annual festival and fireworks show. Riverfront park will open at 5:00 p.m. so you can come early and set up your spot. You can bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks although no alcohol or glass containers are allowed. Free parking is available in several lots in Downtown Beaumont, including the Beaumont Civic Center and Beaumont City Hall. There will also be a beer garden, concessions and music in the park for your enjoyment! At 9:00 p.m. on the dot, the spectacular fireworks display will begin.

“The City of Beaumont fireworks display is the best in the area!” said Emily Wheeler, Division Manager for City of Beaumont Event Facilities, “You can see the fireworks from several spots in Downtown Beaumont, but viewing them from Riverfront Park as they reflect off the Neches River is a real treat. The city works hard to ensure residents experience a quality lifestyle,” said Wheeler, “The goal is to bring people together to relax and celebrate our country in our beautiful Downtown.”

Symphony of Southeast Texas Concert

Held in conjunction with the City's celebration, the Symphony of Southeast Texas is set to put on a fantastic show. The orchestra’s patriotic concert will be held at 8:00 p.m. inside the Julie Rogers Theatre and is free and open to the public. The concert will end just in time for spectators to go outside to view the fireworks display. More details on the Symphony concert can be found here

The Nederland Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau, along with the City of Nederland present the 5th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza 4th of July Celebration in Doornbos Park. There will be plenty of activities for the kids including pizza, ice cream, hot dogs and more!
