Red, White & Blue - and fireworks and music too! Celebrate America the good ole fashioned way with a parade, music, food and fireworks. Preparations are underway for The City of Beaumont’s Fourth of July Celebration and the annual community parade July Fourth morning. These family friendly events are free and fun!

Calder Place 1929 Fourth of July Parade

You can show your patriotic pride and get the whole family involved. The annual Calder Place 1929 Fourth of July Parade begins in the parking lot of the BISD Administration Building at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to watch or walk in the parade. Bring pets, bikes, strollers, golf carts… anything with wheels! Prizes will be given for the best decorated! The event is rain or shine.

City of Beaumont Festival, Fireworks Show and Symphony of Southeast Texas Concert

Later in the day, the City of Beaumont will put on the annual festival and fireworks show. Head to the Event Centre at 5 p.m. for entertainment. Free parking is available in several lots in Downtown Beaumont. The Symphony of Southeast Texas will perform a free outdoor concert on the Great Lawn followed by a Laser Light Show on the Lake at 8:45 p.m. and at 9 p.m. on the dot, the spectacular fireworks display will begin. Admission to all events and performances is free, and local food trucks will offer a selection of food, beverages and sweet treats. The event will feature multiple stages of live music featuring the Symphony of Southeast Texas, Junior Gordon Band, Aaron Hendra, Cool Breeze Band, Briana Adams, and Andre Harness.

All-American fans will find activities for kids and adults, live entertainment and much more, including free ice cream provided by Motiva. Food trucks will also offer a variety of culinary delights, so bring along a few dollars.The Community Band of Southeast Texas will be on hand to provide entertainment as well as Port Arthur’s own Dwight Wagner. The big fireworks show starts at 9 p.m. just outside on the seawall. Bring your lawn chairs and don’t forget, there is plenty of free parking.

The Nederland Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau, along with the City of Nederland present the 7th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza 4th of July Celebration in Doornbos Park. The Nederland Swimming Pool will be open from 5-10 p.m. There will be a Bike and Wagon Parade, Field of Flags, Heroes Walk and Veterans VIP area to celebrate our veterans! Live music by STILL CRUISIN' will start at 7 p.m. and the Fireworks show starts at approx. 9:15 p.m.

Before the Independence Day Celebration in Beaumont, take some time to explore downtown and view new murals, painted electrical boxes and historic buildings. Stop for a drink at Luke's Icehouse or feast on tacos from Tacos La Bamba on Calder.
