This fun pumpkin patch benefits the youth program at the church. There are several different “photo op” areas set up for you to come and enjoy. You can also take a pumpkin home. Pumpkins range from $2 - $55. The money raised pays for scholarships for summer youth camps.

Hosted by the Beaumont Heritage Society, the annual Pumpkin Walk & Haunted Halloween Tour includes a pumpkin decorating craft for the kids and a haunted tour of the historic John Jay French House. There will also be food trucks and families are encouraged to picnic on the grounds of the museum.

Did you know Shangri La hosts the largest Scarecrow Festival in Texas? Dozens of hand-crafted scarecrows are on display throughout the gardens! Visitors are asked to vote for their favorite scarecrow!

Heritage Happy Hour is an on-going partnership between the Beaumont Heritage Society and Giglio Distributing Company. Each event highlights both a historical exhibit, as well as a craft beer.
