Beaumont Welcomes the National Physique Committee April 23, 2016
Beaumont welcomes the National Physique Committee to the Julie Rogers Theatre on Saturday, April 23, 2016 for the Southeast Texas Championship.
“This is the first bodybuilding competition and fitness expo to hit Beaumont since 1996,” says Robin Fore, Chief Operations Officer for the Southeast Texas Championship. “Come enjoy vendor booths, try free samples of products and don’t forget to taste a protein cupcake on your way out!”
The National Physique Committee (NPC) is the premier amateur physique organization in the world. Since 1982, the top athletes in bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini and physique have started their careers in the NPC. Many of those athletes have graduated to successful careers in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), a list that includes 24 Olympia and 38 Arnold Classic winners. For the first time since 1996, the NPC returns to Beaumont this April for the Southeast Texas Championship with IFBB professionals Lenny “Doc” and Leah Sohn presenting. Guest poser, Johnnie Jackson, and Kristi Gray will also make appearances.
