Backyard Music Hall to Open November 15, 2014
Southeast Texas has always been a hotbed for live music and entertainment, and the new Backyard Music Hall, opening on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 will continue the tradition of great music and great fun in Beaumont.
The Backyard Music Hall, currently under construction at the Gateway Shopping Center in Beaumont, Texas, is a state of the-art 10,000 square foot concert venue and bar that will host a wide variety of national and local touring acts. Jerry’s Nelson’s Hill Country will also include the new Wood Fired Grill, set to open in January 2015. Jerry Nelson’s Hill Country will occupy the space formally known as The River nightclub – but don’t expect many similarities, says Managing partner Roy Etie.
“Jerry Nelson and I are very excited about this new concept," says Etie. "The Backyard will be offering a unique setting for shows as well as a great place to hang out with friends. The best part of this venue is that we will be offering a variety of entertainment. Rock, country, contemporary and more will allow us to appeal to all musical taste."
The Backyard Music Hall will feature something for all musical tastes: Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. will be set aside for country music fans with the Backyard Barn Dance featuring the Backyard house band, Twangsters Union. Friday nights from 7:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. will feature concerts from top national, regional and local artists. Tickets for Friday Night Live concerts are available online at outhousetickets.com or at the Backyard Music Hall box office. Every Saturday night from 8:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., the Backyard Music Hall is throwing the House Party of all house parties.
"I’m really excited about our Saturday nights. The music format will be a greatest hits format with a DJ and host M.C. Very much like the popular party spots in New Orleans’ French Quarter. As far as the Hill Country Wood Fired Grill… It will be the most unique restaurant in Southeast Texas. Customers will be able to watch our chefs cook your order right there in the dining room. Delicious Texas favorite deserts and a Full service bar and wine menu brings it all together," says Etie.
To celebrate the opening weekend, the Backyard Music Hall is bringing the up-and-coming country star Chase Bryant to the stage on Saturday, November 15th. Bryant’s new single “Take it on Back” is storming up the country music charts. Texan singer-songwriter Hudson Moore will open the show. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. with showtime starting at 9:00 p.m. Be sure to get there early! A full slate of entertainment is scheduled at The Backyard Music Hall with more events to be announced.
