Every June the Buu Mon Buddhist Temple & Lotus Gardens hosts its Lotus Garden Festival. Visitors enjoy lotus, bamboo and tropical varieties. This year, the festival takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Saturday & Sunday, June 7 and 8. Activities include Buddha's Birthday Celebration as well as arts & crafts vendors, food and tea ceremonies.  

A cultural show will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vesak, the celebration of the Birth, the Enlightenment and the Ultimately Peaceful Attainment of Buddha will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. A vegetarian lunch will be served for all. There is no admission charge for visitors to take in colorful blooms and guests are encouraged to bring a camera.
