The City of Beaumont and the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce invite everyone to celebrate the holidays Downtown from Thursday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 5, at Beaumont's Ninth Annual Christmas Holiday Festival & Parade. This year's festivities will include a Holiday Forest and Tree Decorating Contest on Thursday, Dec. 2, and the annual street parade and lighted boat parade on Saturday, Dec. 4. Events include holiday-themed shows at downtown venues, a free children's holiday party, free outdoor movie, and the Main Street Market, hosted by the Beaumont Junior League. I'm so excited for this event! My family attends every year and we always have a good time. The kids really enjoy decorating cookies and Christmas ornaments at the Art Museum & Energy Museum's children's party. The boat parade was beautifully done last year as well. Looking forward to it!
