We just can’t wait for Sweet Soiree, so Port Arthur is gathering for the first-ever Mid-Way to Mardi Gras party, 6 p.m. Sept. 12, at the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center.  Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas and the Krewe of Krewes will host B-List, the band. BYOE, as in Bring Your Own Everything (snacks, food, drinks, ice, etc.).  Visitors, if you packed for fishing Sabine Lake and Sea Rim State Park and don’t have your green, gold and purple features with you, it’s okay. Dress casually for letting the good times roll and you’ll still catch some beads.
