As the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), our mission is to promote and market Beaumont, Texas as a premier visitor and convention meeting destination for the purpose of positively affecting the city's economy.

This year, the Sea Rim Striders host the 29th Annual Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, Kids and Special Needs 1K on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2019, starting at the Event Centre. The proceeds will benefit Young Life Southeast Texas. In order to help out this organization, people need to register, so the Convention and Visitors Bureau is going to fill you in on how a Turkey Trot can be fun so we can see the biggest turnout yet. The YMBL South Texas State Fair & Rodeo is held annually at the Ford Park Entertainment Complex and brings thousands of visitors to Beaumont each spring with food, entertainment, and, of course, carnival rides. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) showcases the country's top cowboys and cowgirls at the YMBL Championship Rodeo while locals present their masterpieces at the School Art, Quilt and Photo Show. The 29th Annual Beaumont CVB Hall of Fame was one of the best yet! The CVB recognized the meeting planners who brought convention business to the city in 2018 and named Sarah Wells of the Clifton Steamboat Museum as the 2019 Service Award Winner.  The annual Service Award goes to an individual in the community who has shown extreme dedication to enhancing tourism in Beaumont. Few Americans have a legacy to equal or approach Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His vision for equality through peace provided giant steps on the road to progress.
