Hall of Fame

Beaumont loves meetings, reunions, sporting events and conferences. These events wouldn't be possible without the planners who organize and coordinate them, and the staff at the Beaumont CVB honors their commitment to service with the Hall of Fame Reception. This event gives our community the chance to recognize and honor planners who hosted events and conferences in Beaumont during the previous year. With a delicious dinner and great entertainment, this event is a big thank-you to the event planners who help show people why Beaumont is such a great destination!

During the reception, the staff of the Beaumont CVB honors inductees into the CVB "Hall of Fame" and thanks event planners for contributing to the success of meetings and tourism in Beaumont. After honoring meeting planners, the CVB presents a Service Award to a local citizen who has shown extreme dedication to enhancing tourism in Beaumont. The Annual Service Award recipient is kept secret and only revealed at the close of the reception to a very surprised guest of honor.

Each year the CVB works diligently to entice groups, conventions and meetings to choose Beaumont for their meeting destination. Groups are a major impact on our local economy through hotel occupancy taxes and tourism dollars that give a big boost to our economic development. Tourism dollars are "new money" brought into the Beaumont economy, helping this amazing city thrive for generations to come.
